grandeped Complicated, original, intriguing music that is different than others. These are only demos, but you will still hear the great musicianship shining through. Favorite track: Gas Parade (March Of The Dead).

about

In 2002, the original formation of the band split ways. I hired a few new players, including Seth Luzier on keyboards, to embark on a new sound. This continued until 2003, when the original line up reformed in addition to Seth, to continue the direction we wanted. The idea here was the re-record some of our more interesting songs for a major label record deal, and try to get away from recording albums that sound different from our live sound. We wanted a demo that would represent our live show. The songs on "The heart is a two headed sperm" were always much more visceral and intense compared to the album cuts. We rented out a barn in Lancaster, PA... set up a home studio and recorded ourselves, with Jim Settle (bass) manning the mix board. Guitars and drums were recorded live, some bass too. Additional bass was added later, as well as vocals and keys. The band broke up before these sessions ever reached completion. - Stephen
